Describe：The TPS2001EDBVR is a single-channel, high-level enable USB power distribution switch launched by TI. It adopts a SOT-23-5 micro surface-mount packaging. It is specifically designed for USB applications that may encounter situations such as large-capacity capacitors and short circuits, and is mainly used for power distribution and overcurrent protection. This device integrates a 70mΩ (typical value) N-channel MOSFET power switch inside, which can provide a maximum continuous current of 2A to the load. The input voltage range supports common power rails of 2.7V to 5.5V. When the output load exceeds the current limit threshold, the device enters a constant current mode, limiting the output current to a safe level of 2.8A (typical value). It also features a series of comprehensive protection and intelligent functions, including fast overcurrent response (typical value 2µs), reverse current blocking, output discharge function, and built-in soft start, which can effectively control the surge current during power-on.
